Founded on extensive construction and maintenance experience involving social housing and public buildings within the public sector, the company initially focused on providing expert bid management, bid writing, and project / contract management services to other contractors, successfully helping them to succeed in securing and delivering public sector projects and long-term contracts.

Building on this success, the company introduced its building division, expanding its services to cater for both private and public sector construction and maintenance projects and contracts. Importantly, Gray Sparrow Group remains committed to supporting other contractors in the sector, continuing to offer our consultancy services and fostering collaborative partnerships, as well as being a potential source of work for them. This division leverages our established expertise and resources within the company ensuring a commitment to professionalism, quality, safety, sustainability and customer satisfaction.

Expertise and Experience

Gray Sparrow Group Ltd is led by our Managing Director, David Gray, a highly experienced and qualified senior manager with a proven track record in the construction industry. With over 20 years of experience in senior roles such as Contracts/Operations Director, Contracts/Operations Manager and Commercial Manager. David brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to every project.

David is qualified to an impressive SVQ Level 5 Construction Senior Management at SCQF Level 11 and holds SMSTS and IOSH Managing Safely certification. His extensive experience includes successfully managing and delivering multi million pound multi-trade contracts for local authorities, housing associations, universities and house builders. He has a proven ability to implement policies, processes, and procedures that ensure successful business, contract and commercial management, driving continuous improvement and sustainable growth.
